Oceanfix International Limited, in response to an increase in demand for Dimensional Control and Quality Assurance related services, have expanded the Dimensional Control Department within the group. The Department continues to offer a quality orientated but competitive service to clients in the engineering, manufacturing and construction industries.

The introduction of the latest Sokkia PowerSet 1000 electronic total stations, supported by sophisticated Dimensional Control software, enables the company to perform accurate surveys on any sized project in a very timely and cost-effective manner. The use of precision instrumentation combined with a mini-prism system allows typical accuracies of ±1mm on small scale surveys.
The activities of the Dimensional Control Department are audited to ensure compliance with the company's quality system. The quality system is based on the standards required by ISO 9003 and all survey equipment is rigorously calibrated in accordance with detailed procedures contained in the quality system manual.
Oceanfix International offers a Dimensional Control service throughout all phases of manufacture or construction. The service is available both onshore and offshore and typically commences with conceptual preparation of project specific Dimensional Control procedures and continues through to submission of the final as-built survey report. Results can be readily presented in a suitable drawing interchange format such as DXF for CAD systems.
